Scope of Appointment
This project involved the CAT A and B refurbishment of two vacant office floors in the building, including bespoke replacement windows and external fabric improvements.
The building is Grade II listed and the scheme required careful negotiation with the Listed Building and Conservation Officers to secure approval to upgrade the original bespoke windows with improved modern double-glazed units. This necessitated extensive consultation and the production of unique designs and samples to achieve a replacement in keeping with the original award winning 1960’s design.
The instruction included full architectural and interior design services, contract administration, furniture and IT procurement, and project coordination. Existing mechanical and electrical services were reconfigured to support the new layout, creating a modern, efficient workspace that enhances the overall user experience.
